Dr. Sifeddine RAFIK holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Food Sciences from Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute, in collaboration with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. He got an Engineering Diploma in Agriculture and Agri-food Sciences from the same Institute in 2016. Throughout his career, Dr. RAFIK worked as a Food Consultant in different R&D Projects in consulting offices (R&D Maroc, ADI, Agriconsulting SA, etc.). He had an experience in the Ministry of Agriculture (ADA-MAPMDREF), precisely in the Department of local Agri-Food products. He is interested in Agri-Food Value Chains, Food Security, Valorization of Agricultural products and by-products.
Prior to joining APNI, Dr. RAFIK worked as Postdoctoral Researcher in Food Biotransformation at McGill University in Canada.
