GROWING Africa: Communicating Actionable Plant Nutrition Science

Our Growing Africa Platform is focused on building forums and tools best able to deliver actionable plant nutrition science. This initiative strives to foster knowledge sharing within our R&D community and to promote innovation towards accelerated improvement in plant nutrition practices in Africa.

Central to this is the need to build resources in support of our networks of national agriculture research systems and their agronomists. Actionable information on plant nutrition science provides farm advisors and extensionists with the knowledge and techniques needed to optimize nutrient management in farm fields. Mobilization of plant nutrition science is also essential to inform agricultural policy development at all administrative levels through better access to evidence-based information needed to formulate strategies in support of sustainable and productive agriculture.

GROWING AFRICA: A PRACTITIONER’S JOURNAL

Our Flagship Journal, Growing Africa, serves a primary audience of agricultural practitioners and users of agronomic knowledge including: agronomists, researchers, extension workers, students, supply and value chain stakeholders, and policy makers.
