Dr. Martha Nelima Okumu

Martha holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy (Weed Science) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, an M.Sc. in Plant Protection from the University of Pannonia, Hungary, and a B.Sc. in Horticulture from Maseno University, Kenya. Before joining APNI, She has worked as a Programme Coordinator for Inter-Congregational Sustainable Agriculture Programme (ICSAP), where she was coordinating sustainable agriculture and livelihoods projects in Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan. Martha has also been working with farmer associations in research and data analytics, capacity building and resource mobilization.
