Dr. Hannah Schneider is a Professor and Group Leader at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK Gatersleben), and the Georg-August-University of Göttingen in Germany. She leads the “Genetics and Physiology of Root Development” research group. Her work focuses on the genetic and physiological aspects of root development, specifically investigating root anatomical and architectural traits in crop plants related to drought and low fertility environments.
